The Luneburg Variation

Written in 1995 over the Christmas holidays, the “Luneburg Variation” represents one of my speculative adventures.  Having just redacted my wife’s English translation of “La Variante di Luneburg” by Paolo Maurenzig–an Italian World War II thriller about a Nazi playing chess games with a ‘specially-treated Jewish prisoner’ with the winner deciding if, or how many, Jewish prisoners would be killed–and with the book fresh in my mind, I decided to write my own screenplay and follow the book exactly.  No extract is provided here since I don’t have the rights to this book, but if someone were willing to obtain the rights to this wonderful novel and needed a ready-made screenplay, I would be happy to work with them.
